Morning Preschool Program (9:00am-1:00pm)
This program offers students a nurturing and caring environment while focusing on school readiness and the development of critical thinking. The preschool program is offered 2, 3 or 5 days a week from 9:00am-1:00pm. The curriculum focuses on math, language arts, social studies, science, music, physical education and health. There is busy, fun-filled days of activities, learning and playing. The children also receive 30 minutes of preschool gymnastics daily. The teachers strongly believe in differentiation so your child will learn exactly what they are ready to learn so they will be ready for kindergarten.

Teacher Workday Program (Select Days)
Don't know what to do with your precious ones when we are out for workdays based on Cabarrus County School Schedule? You can now sign up for childcare for these days. The "work day" days will be similar to the preschool days, but they will possibly have a different teacher and assistant.
The fee is $16/day from 9:00am-1:00pm. You will need to sign up in the office for the day(s) you need so we will know how many staff to have on hand. You will need to sign up and pay at least one week before the actual workday. If you sign up for the extra days, and you need to take your child off of the list, then you will need to let us know a week in advance or you will still be responsible for the payment. You can also bring your elementary school child on these days too! The children will be separated by age. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Gymnastics

It is very important in society today that our children stay active. We have incorporated 30 minutes of preschool gymnastics into our daily schedule. This program will help develop your child´s body awareness and provide activities to promote gross motor skills, ball handling skills, eye-hand coordination, eye-foot coordination and all around physical fitness. Every lesson starts with a warm-up, which uses scarves, bean-bags, the parachute, play horses and exercising with music. After the warm-up the students use the gym equipment to learn and review new skills through obstacle courses or stations. Occasionally the children will be given a hand-out to take home that corresponds with the skill they learned during our gymnastic time. We match the gymnastics activities to the theme of the week. This is a great time for your child to develop the skills to do forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, crawling through hoops, and flexibility. They learn the meaning of a straddle, pike, butterfly, squat, v-sit and lunge. The gymnastics part of the day is a great way for your child to work on their gross motor skills.

Education

Our children receive over an hour of instruction each day in the classroom by our highly qualified staff. We sing songs and do art activities to match our weekly theme. They listen to stories, play in centers and more to prepare them for kindergarten.

Playtime

It is important for children at this age to interact with other children. Children have 30 minutes each day to play with their friends in our fenced in playground.

Parties

Throughout the year, we host special, fun parties and parents are invited to join us during this time! We have parties for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine, Easter and a graduation ceremony.

Graduation

We have a special ceremony at the end of each school year for all of our children. This is a special time where we honor our graduates and recognize all of the children being the best!
