About Elite

Elite Preschool exists to give your child the foundational start for a lifetime of learning. By focusing on increasing the skills of problem solving, thinking, reasoning and creating, our preschool program contributes to all aspects of your child's development: physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional.

In 2005, Teniah Hilton left her job as a teacher to start Elite Preschool - a school that would pour into the lives of children at such a critical age. Her experience as a parent and teaching in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools for two years and Cabarrus County Schools for five years gave Teniah the insight to know what preschoolers need to be prepared for the fast-paced elementary school curriculum.

Programs

Morning Preschool Program

This program offers students a nurturing and caring environment while focusing on school readiness and the development of critical thinking. The preschool program is offered 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week from 9:00am-1:00pm. The curriculum focuses on math, language arts, social studies, science, music, physical education and health. There is busy, fun-filled days of activities, learning and playing. The children also receive 30 minutes of preschool gymnastics daily. The teachers strongly believe in differentiation so your child will learn exactly what they are ready to learn so they will be ready for kindergarten.

Afterschool Program

Our Afterschool Program is for elementary-age kids attending school in Cabarrus County. With convenient options like 3, 4, or 5 days a week and 6pm pickups, Elite Afterschool's fun environment is the perfect fit for parents seeking afterschool care.

For those wanting to continue your child's education over the summer months, we're happy to offer our summer program at Elite.

Summer Camps

This summer, we have a brand new Summer Program for your elementary and middle school aged students. Bring your own lunch and snack and we'll provide:

• 1 additional snack
• 2 main field trips per week (ex: skating)
• 3 smaller field trips per week (ex: park)

Graduation

At the end of each school year we hold a graduation ceremony for all of our children. This is a special time where we honor our graduates and recognize all of the children being the best!
